Follow The Sun Module
Providing 24/7 support to your customer all over the world asks for a solution that supports different timezones. With „Follow-the-Sun“ your company is able to guarantee an uninterrupted service around the clock, no matter where you are located.
Multinational enterprises with support centers on different continents are able to provide 24/7 service, for example, if a problem occurs in Vienna at night, it is automatically forwarded to Los Angeles.
The Alert Messaging Server Module „Follow-the-Sun“ provides you with the ability to notify not only persons or departments, but the Support Center „on duty“, depending on what time it is.
It is possible to change the language of the user interface of Alert Messaging Server, depending on your location.
Broadcast Module
In case of emergency Alert Messaging Server is able to notify multiple people through sms or phone call.

HA Module
There are different methods to accomplish high availability. The most comprehensive one is to duplicate all components, both hardware and software. This provides you with a total redundancy of your system. In case of a breadkown of one component, the other one takes over.
Alert Messaging Server provides you with redundancy on different levels:
- Database: The database (MS SQL Server) is capable of clustering
- Queue Manager: This service can be installed on multiple Servers. It receives the alarms and writes all information to the central database
- AMS Client: The client can be installed on an optional number of Windows or Unix/Linux servers. The client can be configured with a list of different Queue Manager Servers.
- Alert Manager: This service can be installed on multiple servers. The first Server in the list is polling the database for new alarms on basis of a free definable time interval. A Heartbeat is written to the database simultaneously. If the heartbeat fails, the second Server takes over.
- Voice Alert Manager: This service is analog to the Alert Manager Service.
Voice Module
The on call staff is notified via phone call and is able to play the messages back and to acknowledge them through the integrated interactive voice response. Confirmation takes place via DTMF Code.
Individual speech messages can be recorded and assigned (wav files).
Enterprise Bundle
Following functions and modules are included in the Enterprise Bundle of Alert Messaging Server:
- Basic Server License
- 2 GSM Modem
- Unlimited User Lisense
- HA License
- Voice Bundle (Voice HA License + 2 Voice Engines)
This bundles offers the expected flexibility and scalability of enterprise environments.
